The new line-up consists of the VanContact Ultra Camper, designed for summer use, and the VanContact A/S Ultra Camper, an all-season option intended for year-round touring. According to the tyre manufacturer, both models have been engineered to cope with the challenges associated with motorhomes, including higher vehicle weights, uneven axle loads and extended periods of inactivity during the off-season. Both tyres have been built to deliver high load-carrying capability and dependable handling characteristics, helping owners travel with greater confidence whether embarking on long-distance touring holidays or shorter weekend breaks.

At the centre of the new range is the VanContact A/S Ultra Camper, which has been designed for motorhome owners seeking a single tyre solution across changing weather conditions. Continental says the tyre combines traction, mileage and rolling efficiency, making it suitable for a variety of road surfaces and seasonal conditions. To cope with the heavier demands of camper vehicles, the tyre features a reinforced carcass construction and complies with the Camping Pneu (CP) standard, a specification created to support higher load capacities than many conventional van tyres. The company has also incorporated a robust tread design with thicker rubber blocks, reinforced sidewalls and a protective abrasion rib intended to improve durability and resistance to wear. Combined with a specially developed tread pattern, siping arrangement and advanced rubber compound, these features are designed to promote even wear, reduce rolling resistance and maintain grip in a range of driving environments. Alongside the all-season model, the VanContact Ultra Camper summer tyre provides a dedicated warm-weather alternative for owners who prefer seasonal tyre changes and maximum performance during peak touring months.
