If you have a motorcycle over 50cc, you must have at least 1.0mm of tread throughout a continuous band in the centre three-quarters of the tread pattern and have visible tread on the remaining one-quarter. If you have a motorcycle under 50cc, the grooves of your tyre’s original tread pattern must be visible.
